Curriculum

Toddler Class

The Toddler curriculum is an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Daily Bible lessons and action songs, Spanish and Growing Fit are the specials the Toddler participate in weekly. You may choose half or whole days. A child must be 18 months old to start. The Toddler program is available Tuesday & Thursday.

Two Year Old Class

The Twos curriculum is an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Daily Bible lessons and action songs. Spanish, Growing Fit and Chapel are the specials the Twos participate in weekly. You may choose half or whole days. The Two Year Old Program is available Monday, Wednesday & Friday OR Tuesday & Thursday.

Three Year Old Class

The Threes curriculum is an introduction to letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Daily Bible lessons and action songs. Spanish, Growing Fit and Chapel are the specials the Twos participate in weekly. You may choose half or whole days. The Three Year Old Program is available Monday, Wednesday & Friday OR Tuesday & Thursday.

Pre-K Class 4s

A Beka is an academic curriculum, it is an educational foundation that covers phonics, reading, language development, math, writing, reading and readiness skills. Science, history, poetry and music are also part of the curriculum. The maximum benefit of the curriculum is achieved with attendance of 4 or 5 days. A 3 day a week option is available.

Advanced Fours

This is an advanced Pre-K class using the A Beka K5 curriculum. A Beka is an academic curriculum, it is an educational foundation that covers phonics, reading, language development, math, writing, reading and readiness skills. Science, history, poetry and music are also part of the curriculum. A child must attend at least four days a week to get the maximum benefit of the curriculum.

Transition Class

This is an advanced class using the A Beka K5 curriculum. It is an educational foundation that covers phonics, reading, language development, math, writing, reading and readiness skills. Science, history, poetry and music are also part of the curriculum. This class is recommended as Transition class for the child that may need one more year of preschool before entering Kindergarten. Copies of the scope and sequence are available in the office. A child must attend four days a week.

Specials

The Christ Light Bible curriculum is taught in each class daily by Ms Jill. The lessons are based on the Old and New Testaments. Chapel with Pastor Andy is held in the church once a week.

Growing Fit is a fitness program patterned after a nationally recognized fitness program for children. Each class will also have Spanish once a week. School musical programs are presented at Christmas and the end of the year.
